Heseper Way Closed for Major Construction, Expansion Underway
Heseper Way is currently closed for construction, with work having begun recently. The road is being renewed and expanded between Frensdorfer Ring and the intersection Wehrweg / Emsbürener Straße, including new sidewalks and bike lanes.
Through traffic is being rerouted via Oorder Weg and Frensdorfer Ring, ensuring access to Tierpark Nordhorn from the direction of Frensdorfer Ring remains open. Residents will face restrictions reaching their properties and will be notified in advance by the construction company.
The construction is expected to take about a year, with the section between Eschweg and Elskamp being renewed first, contrary to initial plans. The entire project aims for swift progress and necessary measures.
