Hallertau's 'Digital Experience' Project Wins €30,432 EU Funding
The 'Digital Hallertau Experience' project has secured funding of €30,432 from the European LEADER program. The project aims to create digital audio tours, focusing on culture, tradition, history, and hop farming in the Hallertau region, a global hub for hop production.
The project, supported by the LEADER program, will develop two digital city tours in Wolnzach and Mainburg, along with two digital bike tours. Agnes Stiglmaier and Tina Schuler, representing the local action groups (LAGs), officially handed over the approval notice to Carolin Meinhold of Hopfenland Hallertau Tourism e.V. The cooperative effort involves four LAGs, working together to enhance and expand the Hallertau experience, attracting new target groups to the region.
