Deutsche Bank Wins Multiple Euromoney Awards for Excellence

Deutsche Bank has once again proven its dominance in the global financial industry, scooping up 11 awards at this year's Euromoney Awards for Excellence. The prestigious awards, established over 30 years ago, are widely regarded as the most prestigious recognitions in the financial sector [1][3].

The bank's impressive wins include "Europe’s Best Investment Bank" and "Germany’s Best Investment Bank" for the fourth consecutive year, underscoring its strength and dedication in Europe and Asia Pacific markets [1].

The awards are significant because they are based on a rigorous evaluation process that assesses the previous calendar year's performance (for example, in 2025 they evaluated 2024) across a broad range of criteria including financial results, client service, innovation, sustainability practices, and market impact. Euromoney’s team of editors, journalists, and researchers comprehensively analyze hundreds of submissions from nearly 100 countries, making these awards a respected benchmark within the industry [2][3].

Marie-Jeanne Deverdun, COO Investment and Corporate Bank, and David Feldmann, Head of Institutional Client Group EMEA and Head of Markets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, were among the bank representatives who collected awards at the ceremony in London. Panos Stergiou, Global Head of FIC Sales & Co-Global Head of RMS & Structuring, also participated in the event [1].

The bank's wins span various regions and categories. In Asia, it was recognised as "Asia's Best Bank for Diversity and Inclusion" and "Asia's Best Investment Bank for Financing" [1]. In India, the bank won "India's Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility", with 40 percent of its staff in India serving as corporate volunteers, participating in projects that help people build their professional and personal skills [1].

In Europe, the bank won "Germany's Best Bank for Corporate Responsibility" for the fourth year running, and in Australia, it was awarded "Australia’s Best Investment Bank for M&A". The bank also won "Hong Kong's Best Investment Bank for M&A" [1].

The bank's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility was further highlighted with the award for "Best bank for corporate responsibility" in both Germany and India [1]. The bank's "So geht Geld" (How money works) programme in Germany has reached around 100,000 school children since 2021, equipping them with practical financial knowledge [1].

Euromoney's website's investment banking franchise in Europe has seen remarkable momentum over the past year, driven by a sharp rise in origination and advisory revenues and a consistent gain in wallet share across almost every industry group [1].

Alison Harding-Jones, Global Co-Head of the Investment Bank, stated that the bank made progress towards becoming the leading European investment bank and the undisputed No 1 in Germany in 2024/2025 [1]. Alex von zur Muehlen, Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Germany, commented on the wins, expressing the bank's unique setup for clients [1].

These awards serve as not only a mark of distinction but also as an indicator of industry leadership, strategic priorities (such as sustainability and digital advancement), and excellence in client service and operational performance in 2025 [1][3][5].
