In Canada, several lawyers have been promoted across various practice areas and cities. Gerry Pecht, Global Chief Executive of XYZ, praised the promoted lawyers for their industry knowledge, business acumen, and innovative solutions.

Twenty-three of the 54 promoted lawyers are women, representing 43% of the total. However, a comprehensive global total of women lawyers promoted to partner in law firms in 2022, nor a detailed global breakdown of their practice areas for that year, could not be determined from the search results.

Examples from other firms suggest that women partners are active in various practices such as labor and employment law, trade secrets, employee mobility, commercial real estate, and corporate transactions. However, these examples are not clearly tied to 2022 partner promotions.

In Australia, Kate Green, Harriet Oldmeadow, and Nick Sinclair have received promotions in litigation and disputes, banking and finance respectively, in Sydney and Perth. Rafe Schaefer, based in Houston, has also been promoted in the litigation and disputes practice area.
