Global advertising industry welcomes Toby Hack as the new Vice President of Business Development for Global Advertisers and Agencies, according to RTL AdAlliance's recent announcement.
In a significant move, RTL AdAlliance, a leading player in European media, has undergone a rebranding in Austria, though further details about this change remain undisclosed. This rebranding comes alongside the integration of Austria's advertising sales house, IP Österreich, now operating under the international RTL AdAlliance brand.
At the helm of these changes is Toby Hack, a well-regarded media leader, who has joined RTL AdAlliance as VP Business Development Global Advertisers & Agencies. Hack brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent 15 years with the PHD network, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Executive of Global Business and most recently Chief Executive for EMEA.
During his tenure with PHD, Hack was instrumental in managing some of the agency's large global clients, such as Volkswagen Group and HSBC. His expertise and strategic insights will now be focused on driving strategic growth initiatives, collaborating with global clients, central agency partners, and hubs at RTL AdAlliance.
In his new role, Hack will also be responsible for supporting international business development activities and providing assistance for sales across all RTL AdAlliance business units. This integration unifies international and national advertising sales under one roof for RTL AdAlliance, offering simplicity for advertisers and value for publishers.
The incorporation of European businesses by RTL AdAlliance is a strategic move aimed at simplifying access to European audiences for advertisers globally. Stéphane Coruble, CEO of RTL AdAlliance, has named market heads for all local European businesses, with Oliver Vesper, deputy CEO and CDO of RTL AdAlliance, also involved in this process.
RTL AdAlliance has also partnered with Wurl to accelerate advertising sales on the European CTV inventory of Wurl. This partnership provides access to over 1,300 FAST Channels, further expanding RTL AdAlliance's reach in the European media landscape.
With Toby Hack's addition to the team, RTL AdAlliance remains committed to its focus on strategic growth initiatives, collaborating with global clients, central agency partners, and hubs. Hack's contributions during his tenure with the PHD network, where he contributed to growth efforts across more than 40 markets, are expected to propel RTL AdAlliance forward in its mission to simplify access to European audiences for advertisers globally.
