Gas Supply Restored Today for Seven Houses in Krasnodar After Resident's Pipe Mix-Up
Residents of seven homes on Aviagorodok Street in Krasnodar are set to have their gas supply restored today, following an incident that left them without gas for several days. The resumption of service is scheduled for today, with AO 'Krasnodarгоргаз' conducting pressure testing in several homes to ensure safety before reconnection.
The gas outage was caused by a resident of home No. 15 who illegally replaced a water heater and mixed up pipes, flooding almost a kilometer of the gas pipeline with two tons of water. AO 'Krasnodarгоргаз' has been working tirelessly to repair the damage and restore gas supply.
The company will conduct pressure testing in homes No. 5, 6, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM today. Successful testing in a home will allow for its reconnection today. However, some owners are not allowing specialists into their homes, hindering the resumption of gas supply. Residents are urged to let plumbers into their homes to check equipment and turn off gas valves for the testing to be completed.
Work in disconnected homes will continue on Saturday and Sunday to ensure all residents have their gas supply restored as soon as possible. AO 'Krasnodarгоргаз' reminds residents to only allow licensed professionals to work on their gas equipment to prevent future incidents.
