Future Vision of the Corvette Unveiled through Studies by CX & CX.R VGT

In an exciting development for virtual motorsport enthusiasts, Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors, has announced the creation of the CX.R. This racing car, inspired by the Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo, will be available in the upcoming video game, Gran Turismo 7.

The CX.R boasts a sleek design that emphasises its track focus. With a lowered body, prominent aerodynamic components, and a lightweight interior, this racing car is designed to excel on the virtual racetrack.

Under the hood, the CX.R is powered by an internal combustion engine running on synthetic fuels. This engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, providing smooth and efficient power delivery.

The CX.R's engine is no ordinary one, though. It combines three electric motors with a 2.0L twin-turbo V8 engine. This hybrid setup delivers an impressive 900 PS (662 kW) and spins up to 15,000 RPM, making the CX.R a force to be reckoned with on the virtual racetrack.

Visually, the CX.R pays homage to previous Corvette racing vehicles, sporting a striking yellow and black livery. This colour scheme adds to the car's aggressive and race-ready appearance.

Polyphony Digital, the developer of Gran Turismo 7, has announced the addition of new Corvette concept vehicles to the game, with the CX.R being one of them. Racing fans and gamers alike can look forward to getting behind the virtual wheel of this high-performance racing car when Gran Turismo 7 is released.
