Future heating solutions in Euskirchen: an exploration.
The city of Euskirchen is inviting residents and interested parties to an Information Day on HVAC replacement, scheduled for October 9th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will take place at the town hall and aims to provide valuable insights into the transition from traditional gas heating to water-cooled heat pumps.
Those interested can register for the event via the NRW participation portal at this link: https://beteiligung.nrw.de/k/1017626.
During the day, experts from local SHK businesses and the Oeko-Zentrum NRW will provide individual advice on possible HVAC systems. The search results do not provide specific information on which new residential buildings in Euskirchen will be equipped with water-cooled heat pumps instead of natural gas heating in the future.
From 6:00 PM, two specialist lectures will be held. Thomas Rendenbach, the master of the guild, will explain the function and installation of heat pumps. He will be followed by Jan Karwatzki, an energy efficiency expert from the Oeko-Zentrum NRW, who will discuss the use of renewable energies in existing buildings.
Mr. Karwatzki will also explain the current legal requirements for HVAC replacement and the available funding opportunities for renewable HVAC systems such as heat pumps.
After the lectures, questions can be asked of the speakers. Questions can also be directed in advance to Mara Vollberg, the climate protection manager, at 02251 14 307 or by email to her at our website.
The event is in cooperation with the Guild of Sanitary, Heating, and Air Conditioning, the Oeko-Zentrum NRW, and the e-regio team for district heating. e-regio will inform about connection options to the planned district heating network City Süd.
