Franklin Templeton Boosts Team with Aviva's US Investment-Grade Credit Experts
Franklin Templeton is set to bolster its investment team by the end of 2021. The American asset manager is acquiring Aviva Investors' American investment-grade credit team, led by Josh Lohmeier and Tom Meyers.
Lohmeier and Meyers, along with other team members, will make the move to Franklin Templeton. They will continue to report to Lohmeier, with both reporting to chief investment officer Sonal Desai. The team's expertise in American investment-grade credit is expected to strengthen Franklin Templeton's offerings.
Josh Lohmeier and Michael Cho are confirmed to join Franklin Templeton. Tom Meyers is also expected to make the switch, though no official announcement has been made regarding his hire.
