Fire Prevention Drills Carried Out Successfully by YTEK

On September 12, emergency fire drills took place at the facilities of PJSC "YATEK" in the Middle Viluy area, organized by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. A total of 28 employees participated in the exercise, which simulated a fire in the tank farm at the Middle Viluy Gas Condensate Field's UCPG.

The drill involved specialists from PJSC "YATEK", operational teams, emergency rescue units, and even specialized rescue services. Six units of special equipment, including fire engines, were used in the drill.

Aidar Khaziakhmetov, Head of the Occupational Safety, Industrial Safety and Fire Protection Service of PJSC "YATEK", stated that such drills help enhance professional skills and coordinate interactions between units and other emergency services. He added that these drills test the readiness of personnel to effectively respond to fires and other emergencies, and also help minimize panic and errors in real-life conditions.

Khaziakhmetov mentioned that the drills also serve to evaluate the performance of alert systems, the equipment of firefighting units, and the actions of emergency repair teams. Particular attention was given to evaluating the performance of alert systems during the drill.

The success of the drill indicates the effectiveness of emergency response plans at PJSC "YATEK". All services demonstrated coordinated action during the drill, and the containment and extinguishing of the simulated fire were completed on time.

Representatives of the commission for preventing and liquidating emergencies were present during the drill. Object workers and private security personnel also took part in the drill.

PJSC 'YATEK' will continue to refine practical skills and strengthen its readiness system to ensure the safety of employees and reliable protection of production facilities in any circumstances. Khaziakhmetov added that the drills help ensure the company's ability to respond effectively to extraordinary situations.
