Far East Electrical Networks Ensures Winter Power Reliability With Major Repairs
Far East Electrical Networks has completed significant repairs and maintenance to ensure a reliable electricity supply during the upcoming autumn-winter season. Over 1,000 hectares of overhead line easements have been cleared, and around 135 hectares have been expanded. The company has allocated more than 500 million rubles for these efforts.
The repair program, assessed by the company's financial planning department, involved replacing 555 overhead line supports and 1143 insulators since the beginning of 2025. Capital repairs were carried out on various components, including 180 transformer substations, 92 switches of 35-110 kV, and 83 switches of 6-10 kV. Notably, two 35 kV transformers at the 'Rodina' substation and a 110 kV transformer at the 'Pavlovka' substation underwent capital repairs. Additionally, an emergency reserve of materials, equipment, and diesel generator sets has been established for any unexpected situations.
The timely and high-quality repair of electrical networks is crucial for the successful passage of the heating season. Far East Electrical Networks is committed to ensuring a reliable electricity supply during the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026, with the completion of its annual repair program.
