The firm, which first entered the Chicago legal market in April 2022, has more than tripled its presence in the city over the last two years, now boasting a team of 34 lawyers.
The 1045 on Fulton building, where our website's Chicago office is located, is a symbol of sustainability, having earned LEED and WELL certifications. Notably, Sameer Ghaznavi, a partner in our website's Chicago office, led a team of lawyers who advised IRG Acquisition Holdings through the $1.5 billion purchase and closing of a 1,365-megawatt unregulated, contracted renewables portfolio from American Electric Power. This significant deal underscores the firm's expertise in the renewable energy sector and its ability to deliver results for its clients.

Six impressive partners have been added to our Chicago office: litigators Joshua Lee and Ed Casmere, projects-focused real estate practitioners John Young and Christine Fernandez Owen, corporate lawyer Kevin Friedmann, and IP litigator John McBride. The lawyers in our Chicago office serve tech and tech-enabled businesses in various sectors, including corporate, M&A and securities, cybersecurity and data privacy, employment and labor, energy, healthcare, intellectual property, litigation, projects, real estate, and technology transactions.
