Euro-Business Contest: Inspired Innovation by Heirs of Ingolstadt's Founder
In a celebration of innovative strength, six teams showcased their groundbreaking business ideas at the 5-Euro Business Competition held at the Technical University of Ingolstadt. Among the standout projects were Green Spot's real-time parking app, myReach's robotic arm, and Pfotenparadies Ingolstadt's dog care concept.
The Green Spot team clinched first place with their smart parking platform, winning a prize of 800 euros. Their platform, which displays real-time parking availability, enables reservations, and integrates private parking spaces, has already saved an annual amount of 4.83 billion kilograms of CO2. Moreover, the implementation of the Green Spot platform has resulted in a 37% reduction in fuel consumption. Green Spot is backed by Audi and Cleverciti and is planning to expand their platform into other German cities.
myReach's innovative robotic arm, "myReach", came in second place. Controlled intuitively via hand tracking and armbands, the myReach robotic arm has an appealing design and is made from sustainable materials. The team behind myReach demonstrated how technology can change lives, showcasing the power and potential of young entrepreneurs.
Pfotenparadies Ingolstadt's dog care concept, inspired by a kindergarten model, fosters social interaction and well-being for dogs. Despite finishing in third place, the concept received recognition for its originality and potential to improve the lives of pets and their owners.
These competitions serve as valuable platforms for entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas and connect with potential investors and mentors.
