Emmendingen: Road Closures & Diversions for Safety Improvements in Rheinhausen
Emmendingen County Administration has announced road closures and diversions starting next week. The project management aims to enhance safety and accessibility in Rheinhausen. Residents will retain access to their properties, but temporary traffic disruptions are anticipated.
From October 20, roadworks will commence on Kreisstraße K5122 in Rheinhausen. The project will initially focus on creating a new pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Ringsheimer Straße and Blumenstraße. Then, from October 27, the section between the roundabout on L110 and the junction with L104 Hauptstraße will be fully closed due to the road's narrow width. The municipality of Rheinhausen or the local road maintenance office is responsible for this construction work on the district road.
During the closure, traffic will be diverted via L111, Wislaer Straße, and L104. The project is expected to be completed by mid-November.
Emmendingen County Administration requests understanding from residents and commuters for the temporary traffic disruptions. The road closures and diversions are necessary for the improvement of safety and accessibility standards in Rheinhausen. Residents will maintain accessibility to their properties where possible.
