EAEU Clarifies: Businesses Only Can Import Snow-Clearing Machines

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has clarified rules for importing snow-clearing machines. Businesses must follow customs procedures, while individuals cannot bring these machines as personal items.

Snow-clearing machines, including plows and rotors, are classified as machinery under the EAEU Trade Nomenclature (TNS) positions 8426-8430. These must be imported by legal entities or individual entrepreneurs, following customs procedures.

Private individuals cannot bring these machines into the EAEU territory as personal items. A search for such cases yielded no results, indicating no known attempts of individuals importing snowplows as personal luggage. However, a concept for ice rink snow removal was found, but no specific individual case or name was mentioned.
