Diversion of Buses on Bierstadter Street

Starting from Monday, August 11, bus lines 21 and 22 on the B455 will use 'Plutoweg' as the temporary stop instead of the detour route. Passengers can access the normal stop 'Plutoweg' for lines 17, 23, and 24 on Bierstadter Straße via a footpath from the temporary stop.

Wiesbaden Bus Detours Due to Construction: A Guide for Passengers

Starting from August 8, 2025, several bus lines in Wiesbaden will be affected by construction and road closures, primarily the closure of Patrickstraße. The main affected lines include 23, 24, 37, 49, N11, and 17.

Due to the closure of Patrickstraße, some stops located directly on or adjacent to the street may not be served. Passengers should expect alternative stops or temporary stops near the usual stops on Patrickstraße. Additionally, bus line 37 is also affected by the closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring from August 8 to August 17, 2025, causing further detours and likely skipped stops along that route.

For the most accurate and updated information, travelers are advised to consult the ESWE Verkehr interactive network map or contact their customer service directly, especially for alternative stop locations and exact detour paths. The nearest boarding and alighting points for the affected lines are at the "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße" stops.

Buses on lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 heading towards the city center will detour via Wartestraße, Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, and Fichtestraße. Bus line 37, after serving the "Hans-Bredow-Straße" stop, will return to its regular routes via Moltkering, resuming service at the "Alwinenstraße" stop.

During construction, line 37 will not serve the "Plutoweg", "Wartestraße", "Fichtestraße/Handwerkskammer", and "Hans-Bredow-Straße" stops. The "Hans-Bredow-Straße" replacement stop in New-York-Straße will serve as a transfer option for line 37 heading towards the main station.

The "Wartestraße" and "Plutoweg" stops will not be served by any of the mentioned lines during construction. The interactive network map on www.netzplan-our website.de provides up-to-date timetables. Timetable and fare information is also available via the hotline of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund, reachable daily around the clock under the number (069) 24248024.

A summary of all detour announcements is available on www.eswe-verkehr.de. Additional information about the detours is available at the affected stops' timetable displays.

For any questions, citizens can contact the responsible department or office. The contact information for the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden is pressereferatour websitede. The ESWE-Verkehr service telephone is reachable from Monday to Friday between 7 am and 6 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm, under the number (0611) 45022450. This press release is published by the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden, located at Schlossplatz 6, 65183 Wiesbaden.

  1. In light of the construction on Patrickstraße in Wiesbaden, passengers relying on public-transit transportation, such as bus lines 17, 23, 24, and N11, may need to navigate alternative routes, with detours involving Wartestraße, Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, and Fichtestraße.
  2. Given the closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring during the same period, the finance industry and other transportation sectors like the Wiesbaden bus industry might experience some interruptions, causing line 37 to skip certain stops like Plutoweg, Wartestraße, Fichtestraße/Handwerkskammer, and Hans-Bredow-Straße.
