Digital Entertainment Committee headed by Mani appointed by IAMAI
The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has made some significant changes to its Digital Entertainment Committee (DEC). Deepit Purkayastha, Co-founder and CEO of Inshorts, has been named as Co-Chair of the DEC, joining Kiran Mani, CEO of JioStar's Digital division, who has been appointed as the new Chairman.
Both Purkayastha and Mani bring a wealth of experience to the committee. Deepit Purkayastha's expertise in the digital space, as the leader of a popular news aggregator app, will undoubtedly be beneficial. Kiran Mani, on the other hand, leads one of India's largest digital entertainment platforms - JioHotstar. Her experience and leadership in the industry are expected to influence the committee's strategies and initiatives.
