Dick Clark Productions Appoints Mike Chuthakieo as Inaugural Chief Commercial Officer
Mike Chuthakieo has been appointed as the first-ever Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Dick Clark Productions (DCP), officially joining the team on July 28, 2025. Based in Los Angeles, Chuthakieo will report directly to Jay Penske, CEO of DCP.
In this role, Chuthakieo will oversee all aspects of the company's commercial strategy and revenue generation. His duties include establishing strategic brand alliances and expanding the reach of DCP's intellectual properties across all media platforms. This encompasses major live event programming such as the Golden Globes, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and Academy of Country Music Awards.
Chuthakieo brings extensive experience in accelerating business growth and forging innovative partnerships. His background spans ad agencies, sports marketing, media, and ad technology. Before joining DCP, he was Chief Revenue Officer at 88rising, where he developed sponsorship and monetization strategies for music projects and original IP, including the Head in the Clouds music festival. He has also held leadership positions at Pinterest, Pandora, and MySpace, demonstrating a broad expertise across diverse platforms.
Chuthakieo expressed excitement about joining the DCP team and expanding the potential of DCP's legendary properties while exploring new opportunities for growth in today's dynamic media landscape. He is the ideal leader to help guide DCP's next phase of global expansion.
