Decision made for expansion of mobility stations in Düsseldorf
In June 2025, the city of Düsseldorf will initiate the construction of mobility stations in the neighborhoods of Derendorf, Golzheim, and Pempelfort. These projects, estimated to cost three million euros, are scheduled for completion by March 2026. In order to accommodate the new stations, 33 parking spaces allocated for cars will be repurposed. To mitigate this, the city has organized over 700 discounted parking spaces in local garages for resident convenience.
At present, Düsseldorf already boasts over 20 mobility stations, with ambitions to expand to 100 stations by 2035. For more detailed information regarding this expansion, it would be advisable to consult local authorities or access official announcements from Düsseldorf's municipal or transportation departments.
