Tata Motors has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the Adventure X range for the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari SUVs. Meanwhile, Tesla has inaugurated its first Supercharger in India, located at One BKC in Mumbai.
Tata Harrier and Safari Adventure X: A Closer Look
The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, priced at ₹1.27 lakh for the 3.4 kWh variant and ₹1.37 lakh for the 4.4 kWh variant (ex-showroom), is another new entrant in the market. Bookings for the next-gen Oben Rorr EZ Sigma are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin on August 15, 2025.
The key features shared by the Tata Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X include a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine producing about 168-170 PS and 350 Nm, Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, a surround view camera system, trail response modes (Normal, Rough, Wet), powered seats with memory and welcome function, and digital instrument cluster displays. Both SUVs boast a bold SUV stance with high-set bonnets and elevated driving positions, emphasizing their rugged yet premium appeal. They are built on Tata's OMEGARC architecture, derived from Land Rover's D8 platform.
Differences Between Harrier and Safari Adventure X
The Safari Adventure X commands a premium of about Rs. 1 lakh over the Harrier due to its larger dimensions, added space, and seven-seat configuration, making it more suitable for bigger families or those prioritizing passenger flexibility.

Price Comparison with Other Compact SUVs in India
The Harrier Adventure X starts at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it competitively within the popular compact and mid-size SUV segment. The Safari Adventure X Plus is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), slightly higher but still attractive given its seven-seat configuration and feature load.
Tesla's first Supercharger in India, located at One BKC in Mumbai, offers Destination Chargers (AC chargers) and has a peak charging speed of 250 kW. Tesla plans to set up eight new Superchargers across India. However, the cost of a full charge at this station remains undisclosed.
The total sales of Innova, Innova Crysta, and Innova HyCross across three generations exceed 12 lakh units, marking the Innova's continued popularity in the multipurpose vehicle (MPV) space for 20 years. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has completed 20 years of the Innova brand in India. No information was provided about the prices of several other popular models, including the Nissan Magnite, Toyota Glanza, Tata Tiago, upcoming Tesla Model 3, Hyundai i20, or Renault Triber.
Test rides for the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma are available across Oben dealerships, and the SUV boasts an up to 175 km range. The prices for the new Tata Harrier and Safari Adventure X range are valid till October 31, 2025.
