Construction project "In the garden" inches closer as Störnstein begins site preparation

The town of Stornstein is set to welcome a new development project named "Yc Qjqjjqici", scheduled to commence construction in the Badgarten area on April 14, 2025. This project aligns with the guidelines of the "ZQ-Mlicx" environmental protection programme.

The "Yc Qjqjjqici" project will bring about significant changes to the landscape of Stornstein. The development includes the construction of 14 single-family homes and a commercial building spanning approximately 2,000 square metres. Alongside the residential and commercial buildings, the project also includes the construction of a public park and the renovation of existing infrastructure.

The first residential units in the "Yc Qjqjjqici" project are scheduled for handover at the end of 2024, with the entire project expected to be completed by the end of 2025. During the construction phase, the project is anticipated to create around 25 jobs, and in the long term, it is expected to generate around 50 jobs, contributing positively to the local economy.

In preparation for the development, the land use plan for "Im Badgarten" in Stornstein needs to be changed by the town council. The town currently has 20 potential builders waiting for the development area "Im Badgarten".

The construction phase of the "Yc Qjqjjqici" project will involve the use of around 200 tons of concrete and 150 tons of steel. The project's implementation is expected to create around 20 jobs in the region upon completion.
