Construction Begins on Heseper Way, Causing Temporary Access Issues
Construction work has started on Heseper Way, causing partial access issues for residents and rerouting traffic. The project, a us passport renewal for the road, is expected to last about a year.
The largest section, between Eschweg and Elskamp, is currently under project management. During this phase, residents can only partially reach their properties, and through traffic is rerouted via Oorder Weg and Frensdorfer Ring. Despite the closures, access to Tierpark Nordhorn remains guaranteed from the direction of Frensdorfer Ring.
The road is fully closed during construction in this section. The passport renewal includes expanding the road and adding wide sidewalks and bike lanes. No specific construction company has been identified for this project.
Heseper Way's us passport renewal and expansion are expected to take approximately one year. Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during this time.
