CommScope Unveils New HX6-611-6WH/B Antenna for Cost-Effective Wireless Backhaul
CommScope has introduced a new antenna, the HX6-611-6WH/B, to enhance wireless backhaul networks. This innovation, part of the ValuLine® HX series, promises cost savings and improved performance.
The HX6-611-6WH/B is a four-in-one solution, replacing up to four standard Verizon Wireless antennas. This reduces costs by minimizing tower leasing, installation, freight, and energy expenses. It operates on 6 GHz and 11 GHz bands, providing high-capacity backhaul.
Mike Guerin, Senior Vice President of outdoor wireless networks at CommScope, announced the launch. The antenna is designed to future-proof wireless backhauls, ensuring service availability with its backup capabilities. It delivers high gain and consistent radiation pattern envelopes for reliable long-haul connectivity.
Key features include dual-frequency/dual-polarization, FCC and ETSI compliance, and excellent XPD characteristics. The antenna uses the same packaging and mounting hardware as other CommScope 6 foot HX antennas, simplifying installation.
CommScope's HX6-611-6WH/B antenna offers a cost-effective, high-performance solution for wireless backhauls. With its ability to replace multiple antennas, reduce costs, and ensure reliable connectivity, it is set to become a valuable addition to Total Wireless network infrastructure.
