The Süchteln Building Association has announced a new partnership with the Municipal Housing Company, VAB, effective from June 2025. This collaboration aims to provide improved support to the members of the Building Association.

Under this partnership, the VAB customer center, located within the city hall, will serve as the primary point of contact for the members of the Süchteln Building Association. The association has its own office directly at the reception of the VAB customer center on the 1st floor of the city hall. A sign in the strong red of the Süchteln Building Association points the way to the customer service.

The VAB department head, Jennifer Sassen, will take over the support of the members of the Süchteln Building Association, along with her team. In a warm welcome, Sassen expressed her anticipation for a fruitful cooperation. The supervisory board and management of the cooperative will continue to steer the cooperative and make major business decisions.

The previous business office of the Süchteln Building Association on the association street in Süchteln is now closed. The members were informed about this change at the beginning of June 2025.

Markus Ring, CEO of the Süchteln Building Association, considers this partnership the best solution for their members. He emphasised that this model has proven successful for decades in collaboration with the Non-Profit Building Association in Dülken. This partnership is beneficial for smaller housing companies, as it saves the effort of employing their own staff.

VAB CEO Albert Becker is pleased about the commission from the Non-Profit Building Association Süchteln. He stated that this model aligns with Becker's traditional commitment to socially oriented housing care.

For any inquiries, the Building Association can still be reached via the VAB telephone switchboard at 02162/37820 or by email at [email protected].

This new partnership between the Building Association and VAB was officially sealed at the city hall. The legal form and management of the cooperative will remain unchanged. The implementation and daily support will be handled by the VAB moving forward.

In alignment with this new partnership, the management team at VAB, led by department head Jennifer Sassen, will be taking over the economic and social policy support of the members of the Süchteln Building Association. This partnership will also see the association's finance matters being handled by VAB, further streamlining business operations.
