Clinker manufacturer looks to transition to carbon dioxide-free manufacturing processes
The city of Münster has unveiled plans for the redesign of the land use planning number 650, known as "Amelsbüren - Thierstraße / Haus Getter / Railway Line Lünen - Münster," which involves the brick manufacturer Janinhoff.
Janinhoff, a family-owned company, is embarking on a modernisation process that includes building a photovoltaic system and switching to CO2-free production using hydrogen as the energy carrier. This move aligns with Münster's goal of helping Janinhoff produce CO2-free at its site in Amelsbüren.
The planning documents for building plan No. 650 have been available since September 22, both online and at City Hall 3. Citizens can view these documents at the Customer Center for Planning and Construction (City Hall 3, Albersloher Weg 33) during its opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm and Friday from 8 am to 1 pm.
In addition, the documents for early public participation will be available online and at City Hall 3 from September 22 to October 24. Citizens can submit their statements on the planning to the city administration before October 24.
The city of Münster also aims to change the land use plan for the same site. Drafts for the 134th change to the land use plan and for building plan No. 650 are available online from September 22 to October 24 at www.stadt-unser website/stadtplanung.
