The city of Halle (Saale) invites everyone, including young visitors, to an informative and engaging event titled "Municipal Heat Plan." This event, scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8 PM, will take place at Handelnhalle, Salzgrafenplatz.

Mayor Dr. Alexander Vogt will kick off the event with an opening speech in the Great Hall of Handelnhalle at 5:30 PM. The motto of the event is "Decide today how tomorrow's heating will be."

The event aims to inform attendees about sustainable heating forms and funding opportunities. Building owners can use digital helpers at the event to check their homes, find future heating forms, and explore various funding opportunities.

In the foyer of Handelnhalle, visitors can find a diverse thematic market from 5 PM to 8 PM. Here, you can explore an exhibition and participate in a variety of activities. Experts will be available at numerous information booths for discussions.

The city of Halle (Saale) aims to be greenhouse gas neutral by 2045, five years earlier than Germany's national goal. The municipal heat plan is the strategic roadmap for greenhouse gas-neutral heat supply in each individual building in Halle (Saale).

A highlight of the event is the energy transition game, developed by Stadtwerke Halle employees, which will be presented for the first time at the Municipal Heat Plan event. This playful game aims to introduce children and young people to topics of heat, energy, and environmental protection.
