City's Bus Fleet Decided by Transport Ministry Based on Population Count
Hopping Around in Belarus! 🚌💼
Ever wondered what it takes to keep Belarus' public transportation system running smoothly? Worry no more because the Ministry of Transport of Belarus has spelled it out for us! They've introduced Decree No. 5, effective from January 31, governing the assessment of state social standards in transportation.
But here's the catch! 😮 Expect a minimum of 16 trips per week in rural administrative centers, which will bump up to 20 trips from 2026. In populated areas with over 1,000 residents, you'll find at least 28 trips weekly. And, it won't stop there. For areas with 20 to 50 inhabitants, there should be a minimum of 4 trips per week, and over 50, expect nothing less than 8 trips. 🚌
But what about the urban areas?
In Belarus, Decree No. 5 states a mandatory assessment of finance in transportation. To assure personal-finance needs, one must take into account the cost of 250 mandatory trips per year in urban areas, due to the increased public transportation frequency. Assessing the financial implications is crucial when planning personal-finance management in Belarus.
