New Members Join Economic Association's Board

The Economic Association, a prominent organisation in the financial sector, has undergone a change in its board following the re-elections and new appointments at a recent members' meeting.

Franziska Wedemann, the current chairperson of the Economic Association, was re-elected with a large majority at the meeting on Monday. Arnold Mergell and Martin Mahn were also re-elected as deputies.

However, the departure of Nils Loew from the board has left one vacancy. Loew, who previously served on the board, did not seek re-election for his position. His departure marks a significant change in the board composition.

Two new members have been appointed to fill the vacant positions. Arent Bolte, the managing director of the Wirtschaftsvereinigung Harburg, and Peter Molitor from software company Tiplu, have joined the board. Bolte will be responsible for overseeing the association's finances, while Molitor will be in charge of the association's youth campus.

Both Bolte and Molitor previously served on the advisory board of the Economic Association. Their familiarity with the organisation is expected to smooth the transition.

With the addition of Bolte and Molitor, five out of six board positions in the Economic Association are now filled. The association is currently seeking to fill one remaining vacancy.

Nils Loew's departure has reduced the number of vacant board positions from two to one. The Economic Association extends its gratitude to Loew for his service and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.

The new board members bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to the Economic Association. The organisation looks forward to the continued growth and success under their leadership.
