Carhartt appoints a new leader for their marketing and creative department

Carhartt, the iconic American workwear brand, has announced the appointment of Norma Delaney as its new Vice President of Brand Marketing and Creative. In her new role, Delaney will oversee media planning, brand management, public relations, digital marketing, and marketing analytics for the company.

Delaney brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having spent time at New Balance, Adidas, Sperry, and most recently as the Chief Marketing Officer for apparel manufacturer johnnie-O. She also held the position of global vice president of brand and U.S. marketing for Deckers-owned Hoka.

Carhartt's Chief Brand Officer Susan Hennike described Delaney as having extensive leadership experience and a proven ability to elevate global brands. Hennike went on to say that Delaney will play a critical role in shaping Carhartt's image and brand recognition.

In addition to her marketing responsibilities, Delaney will be responsible for shaping Carhartt's image and expanding its customer base. This is a crucial task for the brand, as it aims to reinforce its commitment to serve and protect all hardworking people, while introducing the next generation to durable workwear.

Carhartt's clothing has become a fashion fixture worn by celebrities and other fashion figures, and the company is looking to build on this success by expanding its customer base. Last year, Carhartt expanded its resale program to allow for mail-in trades, and the company has also partnered with U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol and Better Cotton to ensure the use of responsibly sourced and preferred cotton in its products.

Delaney will report to Carhartt's Chief Brand Officer Susan Hennike, and in her new role, she will be responsible for Carhartt's executive marketing and creative strategies. With her extensive experience in the industry, Delaney is well-positioned to help Carhartt achieve its goals and continue to grow as a leading workwear brand.

Carhartt was founded in 1889 and is privately owned by the family of its founder, Hamilton Carhartt. The company has a long history of providing durable workwear to hardworking people, and with Delaney's contributions, it looks set to continue this tradition for many years to come.

In a separate announcement made on Monday, Carhartt also announced the appointment of Jamie J. Holt as its new Vice President for Brand and Creative. Holt will oversee the creative direction of the brand and work closely with Delaney to shape Carhartt's image and brand recognition.

With these two new appointments, Carhartt is well-positioned to continue its growth and success in the workwear industry.
