Businessman Viktor Fedorov suggests reviving the Council for Entrepreneurship in Yakutia
In a bid to bring about radical reforms, Victor Fedorov, an Il Tumen deputy, has proposed a complete overhaul of the Coordination Council for Entrepreneurship under the head of Yakutia.
The public structure, which unites entrepreneurs from across the republic, is currently criticized for its ineffectiveness in addressing the issues of small and medium-sized businesses. According to Fedorov, the council has been more about talk than action, failing to engage in real issues or deliver expert conclusions.
Fedorov's proposal aims to transform the council into a more autonomous body, capable of preparing its own analytical reports and decision projects, independently from the republic's head. He suggests reducing the number of members from the current 66 to 15-20, keeping only those who are actively involved.
The restructured council would also be given its own legal and analytical apparatus, allowing it to set its own agenda and no longer just present complaints, but solutions. Another significant change is the renaming of the council to the Investment Council, with a plan to unite all scattered structures (TPP, clusters, councils) under it.
The participants of the council's presidium have echoed these sentiments, expressing their need for radical reforms. They have criticized the current system, where the agenda is allegedly changed by 'anonymous clerks,' and the head's instructions are ignored for months. Officials have also been accused of not attending meetings, despite promises made earlier by deputy chairs Dyulustan Borisov and Anatoly Semenov.
Fedorov has shared his proposals on his Telegram channel, urging for a full reboot of the council, not just cosmetic changes. He believes that business is tired of waiting and that it's time for meaningful action.
It's important to note that the president's proposal for the revised Coordination Council for Entrepreneurship under the leadership of Yakutia is not publicly specified in available information at this time.
This proposed reboot of the Coordination Council for Entrepreneurship is a significant step towards addressing the needs of Yakutia's entrepreneurs and fostering a more productive and efficient business environment.
