At the centre of this modern office space is the large divisible meeting room, equipped with a state-of-the-art audiovisual (AV) system designed for flexibility and user-friendliness.
Universal AV, audiovisual specialists, worked closely with design consultants Bluebottle and fit-out contractor Design Tonic to replicate the user-friendly experience of the London office in the Leeds office. The team was praised for their proactive, responsive, and collaborative approach during the project.
Andy Blower, IT operations and infrastructure manager at Devonshires Solicitors, expressed his requirements clearly: the solutions in the new space should be easy to use, rooms bookable, and video calls simple. The AV system in the large divisible meeting room was designed with these principles in mind. It is stable, flexible, and capable of functioning effectively in any room configuration.
The large divisible meeting room, one of the best spaces in the building, also features an intuitive room booking system, GoBright. The system, themed around East Coast seaside towns, makes booking a room as simple as a few clicks.
The room, which initially had existing acoustic issues and a complex layout, presented a significant technical challenge. However, Universal AV rose to the occasion, offering honest advice during the project to help Devonshires Solicitors make the right decisions. They installed YEALink-based video conferencing systems in the room, ensuring seamless video calls.
Universal AV's installation also included solutions that can function effectively whether the room is used as one large space or split into smaller rooms. This flexibility reflects the company's identity and direction, aiming to be future-proof and incorporate Yorkshire charm.
