Bidder in Erfurt sustains significant financial loss during saddle-puller purchase
In August, a resident of Erfurt fell victim to a fraud case involving the sale of a tractor-trailer. The incident is currently being investigated by the Landespolizeiinspection Erfurt.
The fraud occurred on an online vehicle sales platform. The victim agreed to purchase a tractor-trailer for 33,000 euros, but when they arrived to pick up the vehicle, neither the seller nor the vehicle were present. It appears that the tractor-trailer had already been sold, and the fraudsters reused the offer to obtain the victim's money.
The fraudsters used images of the tractor-trailer in their scam, but it was not actually available for purchase at the time of the fraud. Unfortunately, the search results do not provide information about who originally offered the tractor-trailer at the beginning of the year.
