Bayern Munich's new major sponsor is Emirates, who have been named the Official Platinum Partner.
Emirates and FC Bayern Munich Form Partnership
Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, has announced a new partnership with FC Bayern Munich, marking its return to the Bundesliga. This partnership will give Emirates brand presence at the Allianz Arena, the home stadium of FC Bayern Munich.
The deal includes Emirates' logo on hoardings, LED displays, and exclusive ticket and hospitality quotas at the Allianz Arena. Additionally, Emirates will have an own lounge in the Allianz Arena.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, expressed his pride in the partnership, stating that it aims to connect football fans around the world and support FC Bayern Munich's internationalization plans. With over 140 million fans worldwide, the global reach of FC Bayern Munich aligns perfectly with Emirates' global footprint.
Michael Diederich, Vice-Chairman of FC Bayern, welcomed Emirates as a partner, expressing his pleasure with the collaboration.
This partnership follows Emirates' past sponsorship of Hamburger SV for 14 years until the end of the 2019/20 Bundesliga season.
Meanwhile, Polestar, the electric performance car brand, has partnered with Borussia Dortmund for three seasons starting from the 2025/26 season. Polestar will be the official champion and mobility partner of Borussia Dortmund, reflecting a shared commitment to peak performance, progress, and sustainability.
The current main sponsor of Borussia Dortmund starting from the 2025/26 season is Vodafone, with a partnership agreement for at least five years. The Melitta Group is also involved in sports partnerships, including with Borussia Dortmund, but specifically as the official coffee partner of Real Madrid from the 2025/26 season onwards.
FC Bayern Munich, with 410,000 members and fan clubs in more than 100 countries, boasts one of the largest global fan bases in football. The football Bundesliga season is set to start in the coming days, promising an exciting season for fans of both FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
Emirates already has partnerships with several other football clubs in its portfolio, including Real Madrid, FC Arsenal, AC Milan, Benfica Lisbon, Olympique Lyon, and FC Al Ain. The 'Fly Better' logo of Emirates is displayed on the jerseys of these football clubs.
