Coastal States Bank Announces Leadership Changes and Expansion

In a recent press release, Coastal States Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CoastalSouth Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE: COSO), has announced several notable changes in its senior leadership team. Jeremy Summerell has joined Coastal States Bank as the Market President of Savannah. With nearly 20 years of experience in banking and finance, Jeremy's role will involve leading the growth strategy in Savannah, expanding the Bank's presence, fostering meaningful client relationships, and delivering high-quality, personalized service.

Rhonda Thornton has been appointed as the Chief Retail and Experience Officer at Coastal States Bank. Rhonda, an expert in retail management, customer service, operations, and technology for community, regional, and national banks, will oversee the unified retail operations and branch network across Coastal States Bank's Lowcountry, Savannah, and Atlanta Regions. The goal is to enhance the client experience through retail management, customer service, operations, and technology.

Diana McDougall, a founding member of Coastal States Bank, will transition from her role as Lowcountry Regional President to serve as Community Engagement Officer for the Bank in the Lowcountry. Brian Smith, who has served as Savannah Regional President for seven years, will assume the role of Coastal Regional President. With oversight of commercial banking in Coastal States Bank's coastal markets of Georgia and South Carolina, Brian's responsibilities have expanded to cover a broader region.
