Starting September 2023, Sparkasse Bamberg is offering a 2.5-year training program for the role of a Bank Clerk (Bankkaufmann/-frau). This comprehensive training program combines practical on-the-job experience with vocational school education, providing trainees with a solid foundation in financial services.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Bank Clerk at Sparkasse Bamberg, you will be at the heart of customer service, offering advice on financial products such as savings accounts, loans, and investments. You will handle account management and daily banking transactions, while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies. Your role will involve supporting customers with questions about credits and account administration, all within a structured, customer-oriented work environment.
Training Program
The Bank Clerk training in Germany typically lasts about 2.5 to 3 years. Sparkasse Bamberg offers a structured vocational program tailored to their services and customer needs. Trainees will learn about financial products, banking operations, customer service, payment transactions, and legal regulations.
During the training, trainees will receive an iPad and will attend Berufsschule III in Bamberg, two days a week, to learn theoretical content. The training remuneration increases annually, starting from 1,268.20 euros in the first year, 1,314.02 euros in the second year, and 1,377.59 euros in the third year.
