AZGG Faces Severe Penalties for Damaging Almaty's Pipeline Network

A private contractor, 'AZGG', faces severe penalties, including license revocation, for damaging Almaty's pipeline network during road reconstruction. The incident caused water supply disruptions and road damage.

The incident occurred due to 'AZGG' deviating from project management solutions. They improperly passed and backfilled pipelines, leading to a water pipe burst and road surface depression at the intersection of Tole bi and Muratbaev streets. Emergency crews of GКP 'Almaty Su' swiftly restored water supply to affected residential buildings within several hours. Traffic resumed at the intersection after filling the settlement area with special inert material and concreting.

The incident highlights the importance of adhering to project management solutions and technology standards during infrastructure works. 'AZGG' may face severe penalties under Article 312 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
