Audi Brings YouTube to Cars in Summer 2023

Audi is set to revolutionise in-car entertainment with the introduction of YouTube to its infotainment systems. The video streaming giant will be available in selected Audi models from summer 2023, marking the first time YouTube can be accessed natively in a vehicle.

The YouTube app will debut via Audi's new native app store, offering a wealth of content to passengers. With over 500 hours of content uploaded every minute, there's plenty to explore. YouTube Premium members can enjoy ad-free viewing, enhancing the in-car experience.

Safety is paramount for Audi. Videos will only play when the vehicle is parked, ensuring driver distraction is minimised. A data link, facilitated by an embedded SIM card, is required to use third-party apps like YouTube.

YouTube's arrival in Audi vehicles is a significant step in integrating personal technology into the driving experience. Initially available in selected 2024 models equipped with the latest MIB 3 system, this feature promises to keep passengers entertained and connected on the go.
