The much-anticipated Rheingau Wine Week 2025 is set to take place in Wiesbaden from August 8 to August 17, 2025. The event will officially kick off on August 8 at 5 p.m. in front of the town hall[1][2].

This year's festival promises an extensive selection of over 1000 wines and sparkling wines from Rheingau and Wiesbaden wine producers. Visitors can enjoy food trucks and music on multiple stages until 10 p.m. daily[1][2].

For those planning to attend, here are some essential details about transportation and tickets.

Tickets and Transportation

The special event ticket for the Rheingau Wine Week 2025 will grant visitors access to a wine voucher for a glass of wine at selected wineries[3]. The ticket is valid for round trips within the entire fare zone 6500 (Wiesbaden, Mainz, and surrounding area) until 5 am the following day or until the end of the last nightliner service[4].

Tickets can be purchased daily from 12 pm to 8:30 pm at the City Management stand near Marktstraße 10, opposite the Mobility Center. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased from ticket machines, the driver, or at all advance sales points[5][6].

Line 6 will depart from Dernschen Parking Lot at 0:12 am and 1:12 am, going via the Platz der Deutschen Einheit to Mainz Central Station[7][8]. Nightliners will offer additional trips, such as the N2 departing from Luisenplatz at 1:18 am to Erbenheim, Nordenstadt, Wallau, and Delkenheim[9].

Important Notes

Please remember that the ticket must be validated both on the way there and back[10][11]. Additional evening buses will be available on both weekends[12].
