Atlas Copco Boosts Portfolio with SUTO iTEC Acquisition

Atlas Copco has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of SUTO iTEC, a Hong Kong-based specialist in measurement and monitoring solutions for compressed air and gases. The deal, welcomed by Philippe Ernens, President of Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique business area, sees SUTO join the Service Division of the same unit.

SUTO brings a range of products to Atlas Copco, including flow, power, and dew point meters, leak detectors, and compressed air purity analysers. These serve diverse industries, making the acquisition a strategic move for Atlas Copco. SUTO's 136 employees, based in Hong Kong, China, and Germany, will now operate under Atlas Copco's banner.

The acquisition of SUTO iTEC aligns with Atlas Copco's ongoing efforts to strengthen its service capabilities and expand its offerings in the compressed air and gas market.

With the acquisition of SUTO iTEC complete, Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique business area gains a new set of measurement and monitoring solutions. The integration of SUTO's products and employees is expected to enhance Atlas Copco's service capabilities and further solidify its position in the market.
