New Organizational Structure Announced at Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) in the relevant country has unveiled a new organizational structure, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and leadership within the ministry.

At the helm of this restructuring is Major General Ali Al-Adwani, who will serve as both the Acting Undersecretary and the Assistant Undersecretary for Security Support Services. Major General Hamed Al-Dawas, on the other hand, has been appointed as the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs.

The new structure also includes ten sector heads, each leading critical divisions within the ministry. These key officials and their roles are as follows:

  • Security Directorates: Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi
  • Border Security and Coast Guard: Major General Mujbil bin Shawq
  • Criminal Security: Brigadier General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib
  • Private Security and Correctional Institutions: Brigadier General Dakhil Al Dakhil
  • Traffic and Operations: Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Atiqi
  • Ports Security Affairs: Brigadier General Atef Al-Habashi
  • Financial Affairs and Support Services: Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Zoubi
  • Nationality and Residency: Brigadier General Fawaz Al-Roumi
  • Education and Training: Brigadier General Ali Al-Wahib
  • Human Resources and Information Technology: Brigadier General Anwar Al-Yatami

Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Atiqi leads Nationality and Residency, while Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Zoubi is responsible for Financial Affairs and Support Services. Brigadier General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib directs Criminal Security, and Brigadier General Dakhil Al Dakhil manages Private Security and Correctional Institutions. Major General Ali Al-Wahib heads Education and Training, and Brigadier General Anwar Al-Yatami manages Human Resources and Information Technology. Brigadier General Atef Al-Habashi supervises Ports Security Affairs.

The new structure aims to streamline operations and improve leadership within the ministry by clearly defining roles for administration, security, and support functions.

The Ministry of Interior generally oversees domestic policy, public security, law enforcement, immigration, and protection of detention facilities, reporting directly to the head of government in many countries. However, the specific new structure referred to here is as described above, focusing on specialization in security and administrative sectors.

The restructuring at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) includes Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Zoubi, who will oversee Financial Affairs and Support Services, demonstrating a business-savvy leadership in the financial domain. Furthermore, this new organizational structure aims to foster effective leadership across various business sectors within the ministry.
