Approval Granted for The Baptist Quarter District

The Taufach quarter in Beuren is set to undergo a significant transformation with a planned development that promises to create a balanced and modern neighborhood. The project, approved by the town council, is the work of QOSY Local Development Beuren GbR, who will be delving deeper into the details over the coming weeks.

The development encompasses a variety of infrastructure, commercial businesses, residential units, and single-family houses.

Infrastructure

The development will see improvements in roadways and pedestrian pathways, aiming to enhance connectivity and accessibility within the quarter. Utilities and public services will also be upgraded to support the new buildings.

Commercial Businesses

Spaces have been designated for retail shops, offices, and service providers to stimulate local employment and provide residents with convenient access to essential goods and services.

Residential Units

Multi-family residential buildings will be constructed, aiming to accommodate a diverse population with varying housing needs, including apartments and condominiums. A mix of rental apartments, owner-occupied apartments, and potentially more affordable apartments is planned for these buildings.

Single-Family Houses

The plan incorporates dedicated areas for single-family homes, offering private outdoor spaces and contributing to a varied housing landscape within the quarter. The single-family houses will serve as sound protection for the construction in the north and are the last construction phase in the Taufach quarter.

Community Spaces

The project will create urgently needed parking spaces near the sports field, gymnasium, and community hall. A potential area has been planned in field one for the catering business, Landgasthaus zum Kreuz, and field three is the developer's and the community's heart project, aiming to create a future model for lifelong living in the countryside in cooperation with the Isny Senior Care Center (AHZ). A comprehensive barrier-free residential complex with demand-oriented services for seniors will be created in field three, embedded in a park landscape.

Interested businesses and investors are welcome to contact the project developer. If everything goes according to plan, infrastructure could start next year, marking the beginning of a vibrant, integrated community in Beuren's Taufach quarter.
