Apply Now: Baden-Württemberg's €10k Environmental Award 2026
The Environmental Award for Companies 2026 is now open for applications. This prestigious award, endowed with 10,000 euros per category, honours exceptional achievements in business environmental and climate protection. The application phase ends on February 2, 2026, with the award ceremony taking place on December 1, 2026, at the New Palace in Stuttgart.
Companies and self-employed persons with a place of business in Baden-Württemberg are eligible to apply. Applications are welcome in categories such as Trade and Services, Crafts, Industry, and Health and Social Economy. All applicants also compete for the jury prize, which can be awarded up to twice. This year, the jury prize focuses on 'Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chains'.
The jury evaluates companies based on criteria such as environmentally oriented corporate management and efficient use of resources. Environment Minister Thekla Walker aims to support and appreciate businesses committed to sustainable action and environmental protection. Cities like Vaihingen an der Enz, Heidelberg, Wiesloch, and Heilbronn have recently stood out for implementing climate protection and environmental measures and have hosted actions during the KLIMA.LÄND.TAGE 2025. Various companies from these areas have also applied for the Baden-Württemberg Environmental Award for Companies.
The award ceremony will take place on December 1, 2026, at the New Palace in Stuttgart. The deadline for applications is February 2, 2026.
