Antimony Resources Corporation Surpasses Other North American Operations with High-Quality Antimony Well, Confirmed by IRW-News on February 7, 2025, 5:27 pm.
Antimony Resources Corp. is making significant strides in the Bald Hill Antimony Project in New Brunswick, with the potential to establish North America's first standalone antimony production hub. The project boasts a high-grade antimony deposit, with mineralization traced over a 500-metre main zone and an additional 1 km along strike [1][3].
The company is currently engaged in a 2,500-metre drilling program, with over 1,600 metres completed. Remarkably, approximately 80% of the drill holes have intersected sections of massive stibnite (antimony sulfide), a visible indicator of high-grade antimony mineralization [1]. CEO James Atkinson noted that the stibnite is so prominent it can be seen directly in the drill core when extracted. The first batch of assays, comprising about 900 samples, is expected within the next month or two, which will provide detailed data on the resource potential [1].
The company's strategic goal is to address critical supply chain concerns by providing a significant domestic source of antimony for North America, given global supply constraints such as China's export restrictions and limited US imports [1][3]. The management team's extensive experience in exploration and mining further supports Antimony Resources' goal to identify one or more minable resources from Bald Hill and its other optioned properties.
In the latest drilling, Drill hole BH-25-04 has shown promising results, with three zones of massive antimony returning 28.8%, 21.9%, and 17.9% antimony respectively. Drill hole BH-25-04 also returned 4.17% antimony over 7.40 meters at a depth of 106.6 to 114.0 meters [2]. Assay results are pending for the additional drill holes.
The mineralization found consists of massive antimony-stibnite, stibnite veins, and stibnite-bearing breccias. The widths of the antimony deposit in Bald Hill average over 3 meters, and the grades average 3% to 4% antimony [2]. The analysis results show massive antimony-stibnite encountered in the drilling.
The 2025 exploration plan includes completing diamond drill holes over at least 2,500 meters to explore the known mineralized zone, extend mineralization to the north and south, and expand previously discovered parallel ore shoots [3]. Drilling continues with an expanded total extent of 2,700 meters.
Jim Atkinson, P. Geo., CEO of Antimony Resources Corp, stated that they eagerly await the next assay results. Samples were regularly sent to the lab during drilling, and results should continue to come in over the next few months.
These developments suggest Bald Hill has great potential as a significant domestic source of antimony for North America, addressing critical supply chain concerns and supporting emerging technologies [1][3]. Antimony Resources Corp. (CSE: ATMY) (FWB: K8J0) has already drilled the highest grade antimony hole in North America.

The CEO of Antimony Resources Corp, James Atkinson, expressed ambitions to utilize the company's success in the Bald Hill Antimony Project to provide a significant domestic source of antimony in North America, addressing financial implications of global supply constraints in the credit industry. The strategic goal is to capitalize on the high-grade antimony deposit, with potential to establish North America's first standalone antimony production hub, thereby reducing reliance on foreign sources and supporting emerging technologies in the finance sector.
