Strike Action in Italy: HowBad, Now?

Strikes in Italy are a fairly regular occurrence, but not all of 'em cause major issues for passengers. The severity of the disruption largely depends on worker participation, with nationwide protests backed by major unions tendin' to make a bigger impact. But even in the most disruptive strikes, transport operators are legally required to offer essential services during peak travel times.
