AMAMA Secures $1M Funding for Global Expansion of Wearable Art
AMAMA, a vibrant jewellery label, has secured $1 million in funding from Mistry Ventures. The investment will fuel the brand's mission to bridge generational gaps through expressive, wearable art and support its global expansion.
Founded in 2019 by Nikita Gupta, AMAMA is deeply rooted in Indian artisanal craftsmanship and modern design. The brand creates, curates, and hosts handcrafted fashion accessories from around the globe, aiming to tell stories that transcend cultures and generations.
With this latest round of funding, AMAMA plans to scale its operations, strengthen its supply chain and tech infrastructure, and expand its product and design teams. The brand is also exploring travel retail and international expansion via global exhibitions and strategic tie-ups. This is AMAMA's second investment after initial backing from She Capital Trust.
AMAMA's new funding will amplify its global storytelling, fostering connections between generations through expressive, wearable art. The brand is set to launch new stores in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and the Delhi NCR region, further expanding its retail presence and impact.
