In Almaty, the Antikor platform has recently unveiled a summary of its anti-corruption activities over the past nine months. During a press briefing, Dauren Tauamura, the department's first deputy head, discussed the progress made in key areas.

The department's relentless work in combating corruption during this period resulted in the recovery of 3.578 billion tenge from successfully concluded criminal cases.

To promote an anti-corruption culture, the department emphasizes prevention strategies. One of its significant initiatives is Antikor Live, a project that invites live broadcasts with all state bodies and public figures, fostering an open dialogue platform to discuss anti-corruption endeavors, legislative updates, and address citizens' inquiries.

The shift to an online format during the lockdown period was a timely transformation, enabling un hindered communication with the public and facilitating a more accessible exchange of information.

To boost legal awareness and provide free legal assistance, the "Adal kömek" project has offered support to 149 citizens. Legal professionals, including independent lawyers, advocates, and state officials, serve as consultants.

The department actively manages the "Interactive Map of Open Budgets" platform, enabling citizens to bring forth concerns regarding budget funds for essential services such as schools, hospitals, kindergartens, and common social issues like poor road conditions.
