ADECCO Group unveils altered lineup for the Executive Committee

The Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) has announced significant changes to its Executive Committee (EC), with several new members joining the team to drive the organisation's success and maintain its leading global position.

Federico Vione, an Italian national, has been a member of the EC since October 2009. In a new role effective from October 1, 2015, he will take on the position of Chief Sales & Innovation Officer, with a focus on the digital transformation of the Group.

Joining the EC on the same day is Stephan Howeg, a Swiss and German national, who will serve as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. Howeg, who has over 15 years of senior leadership experience across different industries, joined the company in 2007 and has positioned the company as the thought leader in the staffing industry as Global Head of Group Communications.

John Marshall, a US national, who began his career in Professional Staffing in 1998 and has held various executive positions, including President of Special Counsel and Accounting Principals, will join the EC on October 1, 2015. Marshall will take over as the Regional Head of UK & Ireland.

Mark De Smedt, a Belgian national, who joined the company in 2002 as Regional Head of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, has been an EC member since 2014. He has served as the group Chief Human Resources Officer and has strengthened the Group's HR function globally and locally during his term. De Smedt will become the Regional Head of Northern Europe as of January 1, 2016.

Meanwhile, Sergio Picarelli, an Italian national, who has been an EC member since October 2009, will take on a new role as the Regional Head of Italy, Eastern Europe & MENA and India, also effective from October 1, 2015.

Notably, Martín Alonso, the previous Regional Head of Northern Europe, will leave the company on September 4, 2015, after 22 years of service. Peter Searle, a previous member of the Executive Committee, will also depart the company on the same day to pursue his career outside the organisation.

Alain Dehaze, the group CEO, commented that the appointments of John Marshall and Stephan Howeg will further drive the company's success and build on its leading global position. The new EC members are expected to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to their respective roles, ensuring the organisation continues to thrive in the ever-evolving business landscape.
